A Note from The Principal

I welcome you to Panchthupi Haripada Gouribala College with pride. It started strolling on & from 24th September1996 with the affiliation of the Calcutta University and after then affiliated to the University Of Kalyani in the Year 1999. Our College started as General Degree College, initially with [Bengali, English, History, Philosophy, Political Science, ] Arts subjects in Pass Course Today College offers Six honours subject [ Bengali, English, History, Philosophy, Political Science ,Sanskrit] and Seven Pass Subjects such as. Bengali, English, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Arabic and Sanskrit . At the time of inception , we started imparting education in a building given by a loyalist of Panchthupi village . Now we have double storied own building with internet facilities. We never demand our high birth in the college education in the Murshidabad District, but engaged in to make Higher Education popular in general and always endeavour to teach the pupils social responsible person. Education is not an act of acquiring knowledge but learning a skill to lead life and forming one’s personality. Most of our students are First Generation Learner. So first of all our duty is to accept challenge to make the education , which we will impart, would be attractive and acceptable to the students. We also made fees structure affordable for such students those are very much reluctant and due to financial crisis keep themselves far from higher education.
